FAQ

Everything people askbefore hiring me.

Pricing, timelines, NDAs, ownership, support, how remote work runs — answered plainly, so you can decide before the call.

(01)Working together

Scope, pricing and process

Websites, web apps, mobile apps, custom software, and the automation or SEO work that supports them — for startups, small businesses, and teams who need one person accountable for design and code, not a hand-off between departments.

With a short conversation about what exists today, what outcome you need, and any fixed deadline. From there I scope the work, give you a fixed quote or estimate, and outline the stages before anything is built.

Yes. I've delivered work under agency and studio brands where the client-facing relationship stays with them. Happy to discuss NDA terms and white-label arrangements upfront.

Yes, if the project needs one. Send your own template or ask for mine — either way it's signed before any project details are shared further.

Fixed-price for well-defined scopes, or a day/milestone rate for open-ended or ongoing work. Payment is typically split across milestones — an upfront deposit, then the balance tied to delivery stages — rather than one lump sum at the end.

A focused landing page can ship in 1–2 weeks; a full website or web app usually runs 3–8 weeks depending on scope; custom software and automation work varies more and gets a real estimate after scoping. Rush timelines are possible and get flagged during scoping, not after.

Generally yes — reach out with a short note about the project and timeline and I'll confirm current availability directly rather than leaving you guessing.

Service-specific questions

A focused business website commonly takes two to four weeks. Custom applications need a scoped roadmap before a reliable timeline is set.

Yes. Semantic HTML, metadata, structured data, mobile responsiveness, performance, and crawlable architecture are included.

Yes. Key flows and responsive states are agreed before implementation.

Yes. A redesign starts with an audit of analytics, content, journeys, constraints, and positioning.

Cross-platform is efficient for shared workflows. Native is preferable when platform-specific performance dominates.

Cost depends on journeys, roles, integrations, offline behavior, backend requirements, and release scope.

When repeated workarounds, disconnected tools, manual errors, or product limitations create more cost than a tailored system.

Yes. Feasibility depends on APIs, data access, authentication, and platform reliability.

A focused MVP commonly takes four to ten weeks depending on roles, integrations, platforms, and the depth of the core journey.

No. A prototype tests interaction or direction; an MVP is a usable release that can validate behavior with real users.

Lead workflows, retrieval, agentic tasks, WhatsApp CRM, scraping, classification, reporting, and integrations.

A chatbot mainly answers. An agent can retrieve context, use tools, call APIs, update systems, and pause for approval.

Technical fixes can show impact quickly, but competitive visibility usually requires sustained work.

No responsible provider can guarantee a ranking. Work improves quality, relevance, authority, and measurement.

Budget depends on market demand, competition, geography, offer value, and the amount required for meaningful learning.

No responsible marketer can guarantee outcomes. The work improves targeting, measurement, creative, pages, and decision quality.

Architecture, modernization, cloud, vendor review, security, delivery, integration, data, and workflow.

No. Consulting can continue into prototypes, implementation, migration, leadership, or oversight.

Yes. The mix depends on maturity, release frequency, risk, and flow stability.

Yes. Access, environments, requirements, data, and ownership of fixes should be agreed.

Critical support can be arranged subject to access, familiarity, and an agreed model.

Some systems can achieve near-zero downtime depending on writes, DNS, architecture, and rollback.

What I do not take on

Enterprise CRM platforms and long-running in-house product teams are handled by my company, NodeAscend Tech. This studio stays on creative design, web and app builds, and AI automation — the work I personally design and code.
